Here's what you need to know:
🚨 Update your Chrome browser right away!
Google has identified an issue in their JavaScript engine that might allow for bad guys to do bad stuff.
This is what Forbes explained the issue as:
“Google issued the warning on its official Chrome blog, revealing that Chrome on Windows, macOS and Linux is vulnerable to a new ‘zero-day’ hack (CVE-2022-1096). Zero-day is the most dangerous form of attack because it means the vulnerability is known to hackers before Google could issue a fix. As the company admits, “Google is aware that an exploit for CVE-2022-1096 exists in the wild.” This means every Chrome user is vulnerable.”
It's safe to assume that every chromium based browser is affected. That means Chrome, Opera, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi and so on except firefox and firefox based browsers. Note that apart from Chrome, no fixes have been released for the other browsers (afaik).
Google has already deployed a security patch update to Chrome, and it is highly advised that you update to this new version: 99.0.4844.84
To force your Chrome browser to update, go to settings and select "About Chrome"

Usecase:
This term comes up a lot with less-that-hygienic coins. It refers to "what use does this coin have". How can you use it? Is it thin air or can you actually do something with it?
