Here's what you need to know:
Pixelmon delivers NFT that looks like a 5-year-old’s drawing
Look, I’m a big-time supporter of NFTs and completely fine when people pay millions of dollars for a jpeg. I don’t lose sleep. It’s their money, they can do whatever they want with it. You can also say all NFTs look like they were designed by a 5-year-old, well guess what, I don’t care.
But when you buy something expecting it to look god-like amazing and the promised results are complete trash, that shit is going to drive me mad.
So Pixelmon raised over $70m at 3 ETH per mint.
They promised this:
just for them to reveal like this:
Getting paid a total of $70 million for those results is atrocious. This whole project was a cash grab.
After the mint, people on Discord mentioned that one of the developer's wallets went on a buying spree of other NFTs after receiving the 400 ETH.
A whale just made a $3m crypto donation to a Ukrainian Charity
According to Elliptic data, people have donated $400,000 worth of Bitcoin to the Ukrainian nongovernmental organization – Come Back Alive. The latter provides military equipment, medical supplies, and training services to the local army.
In addition, a mysterious contributor donated 80 BTC to a charity organization supporting the Ukrainian army. At current prices, the amount equals over $3 million 🤯
Another Ukrainian entity – Cyber Alliance – received approximately $100,000 worth of Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, and a mix of stablecoins over the last year.
Frens, be careful out there. Always verify before donating. There are scammers out there.
This dude made the entire Shrek movie into an NFT
Just cause he found it interesting that no one had ever made it, one absolute mad lad goes ahead and makes the entire 1.5-hour long movie into an NFT free to watch.
It’s without sound. It’s completely illegal. And he listed the price to a whopping 25 ETH (approx $70,000) so that everyone can watch it and hopes no one buys it. But darling, what if someone does?
The dude claims that he got inspired by another guy who had turned the Shrek movie into a gif
Get your popcorn ready. It’s movie time!!
If this manages to get traction, that dude is going to have so many lawyers up his ass that he’s going to shit suits and ties for the rest of his life.
