IreneDAO to the moon
Bored Apes are going to become history soon. An instagram model created 1100 NFTs of herself wearing skimpy clothes, called it a DAO and raised over $3m from desperate bidders. The NFTs are now selling for about $10,000 after Logan Paul and Mike Novogratz simp in.
We say fair play to her as she basically created a decentralized DIY OnlyFans. No middle man and less competition. Get paid directly.
Way to go creator economy!
Crypto.com was under hacker attack
Earlier today, crypto.com halted withdrawals from its platform in response to several “thefts” reported by customers. Dogecoin ($DOGE) founder Billy Markus noticed a suspicious transaction pattern on Etherscan that prompted the company to halt all transactions until it figures out what’s going on with its platform
Their official tweet:
If you are a user, check your account and if you see any suspect activity, contact the customer support asap!
Now you can shop in VR!
Walmart is expected to create its own cryptocurrency and non-fungible tokens, according to new filings with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The company also plans to use these NFTs on a blockchain platform that deploys smart contracts and virtual reality experiences.
This is literally $WTF!
A guy lost $135k trying to trade fees.wtf tokens. The user lost 42 ETH to get 0.00004 WTF while it's actual value is just $0.000005. Fees.wtf is a tool that allows users to track the fees they spend on ETH. It airdropped it's $WTF tokens on Thursday.
As soon as the token got listed on ETH based exchange Uniswap, speculators hoping that an eventual price rise would net them handsome returns.
The user accidentally swapped 42ETH for 0.00004 $WTF, the actual value of the token was just $0.000005. This happened due to low liquidity in the trading pool.
Crypto lingo of the day
Flippening:
Not to be mistaken for "fappening"! It's an act of Ethereum overtaking Bitcoin in market cap or other metrics.
