YouTube's Head of Gaming set to join Polygon Studios as CEO
Ryan Wyatt, YouTube’s Head of Gaming for seven years, announced that he is leaving next month to become CEO of Polygon Studios, the gaming and NFT arm of Polygon ($MATIC).
He was the man behind bringing famous Twitch streamers over to YouTube and cited his passion for blockchain and Web3 development as the driving force behind the move.
Facebook’s cryptocurrency project Diem is likely coming to an end
Dead before it even came alive. Beautiful! The Facebook-sponsored cryptocurrency formerly known as Libra appears to be coming to an end. The Diem Association set up by Facebook to manage the digital token is exploring a sale of its assets after meeting resistance by regulators who opposed the initiative, according to a new report by Bloomberg.
Etherscan creators launch 'Ethereum Instant Messenger'
Blockscan Chat allows Ethereum users to message each other from wallet to wallet. Users just need to connect an Ethereum wallet to the service to use it.

McDonald's responds to Elon Musk saying they would accept Dogecoin one one condition—if Tesla accepts GrimaceCoin. Grimace is a fluffy, purple character featured in McDonaldland commercials and is known for his slow-witted demeanor.

Thailand set to regulate cryptocurrency
As per the official press release, the Thai authorities are planning to introduce a set of guidelines that would “limit the widespread adoption of cryptocurrency as payments for goods and services” to protect its citizens against the threats posed by cryptocurrency.
According to Cryptoslate, The Bank of Thailand, in association with the Security and Exchange Commission and the Ministry of Finance, will work together to regulate cryptocurrency as a method of payment.
