Ethical hacker helps recover millions in crypto
The anonymous ethical hacker was an investor in a project called StableMagnet that was actually a rug pull. The vigilante hacker checked the code to make sure the project was legitimate however, he missed a couple of tweets about vulnerabilities in the system.
He took the loss personally and set out to track down the scammers. He told CoinTelegraph in an interview:
I just felt like this was the only opportunity in my life — to have a very meaningful impact in a situation where most people are not going to have the time and the gusto to do that kind of thing.
After the StableMagnet rug pull of $27+ million, he tracked down the scammers, got the police involved and recovered partial amounts of the funds.

Dude loses 195 ETH ($511,000) by sending to wrong address
The guy sent $500k to a smart contract address thinking it would convert his ETH into WETH. The transaction fees was just $6 though.
🚨 Frens, before sending a huge amount of crypto to an unknown wallet, please send a small amount first, wait for the transaction to complete and then send the rest. Every transaction in crypto that is worth millions (or not in millions) should be preceded by a test transaction, period. 🚨
Bieber purchased Bored Ape for 500 ETH
Justin Bieber has just joined the Bored Ape Yacht Club, purchasing ape #3001 for 500 ETH ($1.3M).
He seems to have bought a floor ape for nearly 5x the price, meaning there was nothing particularly rare about the NFT—other than the Token ID matching his birthday—March 1st.
