Markets
Here are today’s market moves:
Here's what you need to know:
Nostalgia incoming in…3…2…1…
Remember those good ol times when downloading just one song from LimeWire could send your PC to hell. I still owe my parents a computer 😂
Well, LimeWire is going to be back in May 2022 and will be made into an NFT (Non Fungible Trojan 🤣 ) marketplace.
Brothers Paul and Julian Zehetmayr, from Austria, have bought the rights to the company with plans to roll out the platform in a way that connects artists and fans. They will be focusing on music, entertainment content, and art as digital assets, according to a press release.
Oh! and an NFT is due to drop later this year with a special reward system.
Keep your eyes out for this one frens! 👀
They have a waitlist that you can sign up for if you're interested.
The token system will act as a "loyalty reward program" of sorts for token holders. If you are an artists, you can register on the website to receive early access to LimeWire's marketplace.
I recommend joining their Discord server to do some research on the overall engagement. Please DYOR.
It's nice to see old brands make a comeback. First Tai Lopez (eeww 🤮) with RadioShack, now LimeWire.
What next? Napster??
Quick question: Do you REALLY enjoy playing "games" like Decentraland and Sandbox?
I have been a gamer throughout my life. Played 12+ hours daily from mobile, to PC, to console. From Crysis to God Of War to Call Of Duty! You name it. The emotions these games made you feel were something else.
But it’s 2022, and ‘wE ArE iN tHe MeTaveRse’.
I’m super passionate about this new found love of crypto.
But I haven’t been able to fully enjoy blockchain games like Decentraland and Sandbox. Maybe the industry is in its infant stage.
So frens, I want to know YOUR thoughts on crypto based games.
Do you REALLY enjoy playing "games" in the Metaverse?

Kraken is giving $1,000 in Bitcoin to every Ukrainian user
Kraken is giving $1,000 in Bitcoin to Ukrainian users who opened an account before 9 March. Recipients can withdraw the money immediately — and it will help those who may have been displaced by Russia's invasion.
FTX offered $25 and it was good!
Kraken offering $1000 is just INCREDIBLE!
But remember: no matter how good an exchange is, it's still a centralized service.
Not your keys, not your coins.
South Korea has a new President - and he likes crypto!
And we automatically like him!
Yoon Suk-Yeol has officially been elected as the new president of South Korea. Throughout his campaign, Yoon promised to de-regulate the bitcoin market.
Fun Fact: The opponent presidential candidate was also a pro-crypto person.
In South Korea, cryptocurrency dominated the election discourse, with both candidates launching NFTs connected to their campaigns.
Our Korean crypto bros are super lucky and I wish them well!
