Hacker spares accounts less than $100k in Cashio hack 💀
A glitch in Cashio, solana-based stablecoin protocol, allowed a hacker to mint unlimited tokens/coins without providing collateral.
The hacker has been nick-named “modern-day Robin Hood” for leaving a note in the Ethereum transaction data that said, “Account with less than $100k have been returned. All other money will be donated to charity.”
According to a report by Bybit, the hacker kept his promises and paid out the stolen USDC to wallet addresses that were worth less than US$100,000.
However, there is little evidence of the rest of the money being donated to charity.

20 year old escapes war with USB stick holding 40% of his life savings in crypto
It’s the 5th week of war between Russia and Ukraine and crypto is still proving the haters wrong by helping the needy.
Crypto has helped Ukrainian refugees in more ways than one, especially since banks were forced to shut down after the conflict.
A 20 year old Ukrainian, identified by the nick-name ‘Fadey’, escaped war and crossed into Poland with 40% of his life savings in Bitcoin contained on a USB stick, CNBC reported on March 23.
Unsure of the remaining 60% of his savings but he was smart enough to put a good chunk of it in crypto.
But I don’t get why he needs a USB stick. Does he not know he only needs to submit a paper?
Also, afraid to ask where he hid the USB stick 😂
