Here's what you need to know:
Vitalik Buterin accepts a hard pill about ETH 👏
Vitalik has recently opined that the gas fee charged on Layer-2 solutions has to be reasonably low to be acceptable.
We are all tired of the high gas fees and Buterin made his statement to Ryan Adams, who posted a list of gas fees required to bridge tokens to the Ethereum network using various Layer-2 protocols.
Hoping the upcoming ETH upgrade solves this issue on the get go.
Starbucks to launch NFTs this year
The NFTs will provide owners with access to exclusive content experiences and other benefits. NFTs will help Starbucks extend its 'third place' brand concept. Starbucks' NFTs will likely be multi-chain or chain agnostic. The company is currently searching for a new CEO with an understanding of web3 technologies.
Things to say to avoid red portfolio embarrassment
Portfolios bleeding red right now? $250M got liquidated in last 4 hour
Here's a list of less embarrassing reasons instead of saying you lost it on crypto:
I used to have an affair with my receptionist and she now has my bastard child that I need to support.
I have very specific pornography tastes that require expensive donations to have carried out (you will NEVER receive follow up questions on this one!)
I have a drinking problem (made more convincing if you actually have one which if the market keeps dropping you probably will soon).
I scratched my leg and went to the ER without having insurance.
Coinbase opens NFT Marketplace to all
A really tragic launch for Coinbase.
On its first day, the marketplace, which opened its beta up to the public yesterday, saw less than 150 new users sign up for its platform, according to data from Dune Analytics.
Coinbase NFT also only saw 150 transactions in its first day open to the public, per Dune, which amounted to about $75,000 of Ethereum (ETH) traded. That’s less than the price of one Bored Ape.
